Support

Repaired in the United Kingdom, by the people who build drones.

Most drone suppliers are resellers. A fault means the drone is crated and returned to the manufacturer, and the period out of service depends on a queue in another country.

We repair in our own workshop. The Bionic Eye spent its first decade building drones from components, and we distribute many of the principal components used in commercial drones. Faults are diagnosed here, stock is held in the United Kingdom, and we know how each component is configured rather than only how to replace it.

Reporting a fault

Contact us with the symptoms and, where available, the flight logs. Many faults can be identified without the drone being returned, and a part dispatched the same day.

Where the drone is required at the workshop, we confirm what is needed before it is sent.

Servicing and maintenance

Scheduled servicing maintains airworthiness and supports the maintenance records your Operational Authorisation requires. Intervals are set against utilisation and operating environment rather than a fixed calendar.

Under the enhanced warranty option, servicing and maintenance are prioritised.

Where parts are unavailable

Component availability is the main variable in any repair. Where a part cannot be sourced within a period that suits your commitments, and you hold the enhanced warranty option, loan equipment is supplied so that scheduled work continues with minimal interruption.

Report a fault, or discuss a servicing schedule.
